Digital KT tools for parents on COVID-19 in ED visits

Pediatric | Knowledge Translation | Child Health | Coronavirus | COVID-19

The purpose of this study is to develop parental educational tools (that use art and digital platforms) for emergency room settings. The condition that will be reviewed in this study is COVID-19. Using this approach to deliver information to parents and caregivers, we hope to reduce uncertainty and improve knowledge around the illness itself and what families and children can expect.

We are looking to interview (1) parents of children who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or (2) adolescents aged 17-19 who have diagnosed with COVID-19. We will use the interviews to develop and evaluate innovative information tools for parents with COVID-19. These tools will be made widely available using digital and social media platforms.
