Barriers and Enablers to Private Practice Nursing in Alberta
Survey link - https://redcap.link/NursesAlberta
This study is an online survey (and optional small group discussion) about nurses (RN, RNNP, RPN LPN)’ interest in working in private practice in Alberta, such as in Home Care.
We want to learn how many nurses are interested in this kind of work, what would motivate them, and what gets in the way. We will ask about things like training, rules and paperwork, insurance, costs to get started, finding clients, and how nurses would get paid for services. At the end of the survey, you can choose to share your contact information if you want to join a focus group. What you share will help identify practical supports that could make it easier for nurses to offer home-based care through private practice.
