This is a Phase 3, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, 2-period, 2-treatment cross-over study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of orally administered deucrictibant compared to placebo for the on-demand treatment of HAE attacks, including non-severe laryngeal attacks, in participants ≥12 to ≤75 years of age with HAE type 1 or type 2 (HAE-1/2), a proportion of whom are using long-term prophylactic medication for HAE.

12 - 75The purpose of this study is to determine whether outcomes for patients receiving intra-articular platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections for knee osteoarthritis are influenced by observation of the preparatory steps to the procedure. The viewing of the steps involved in the administration of PRP may increase the effectiveness of the treatment in comparison to patients who have not observed the preparatory steps.

50 - 80Local muscle endurance (LME) is the ability of a muscle(s) to resist fatigue and is needed for daily activities of life such as climbing stairs, lifting/moving objects, and in sport contexts like rock climbing, mixed martial arts, cross-fit, kayaking and canoeing. Therefore, the investigators want learn how to improve LME and understand what in human bodies changes during exercise training to cause these changes. The investigators know that lifting weights improves muscle strength which is believed to improve LME. Specifically lifting less heavy weights (LLRET) for more repetitions leads to greater gains in LME opposed to heavier weights for fewer repetitions. Therefore, lifting less heavy weights likely causes greater changes in our muscles than lifting heavier weights that cause improvements in LME. Aerobic exercise preformed at high intensities in an interval format (HIIT) may also help improve LME by increasing our muscle's ability to produce energy during exercise. Therefore, the investigators want to see which of LLRET or HIIT leads to greater improvements in LME.

Over 18Staging of kidney cancer is primarily achieved by computerized tomography (CT) scans or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). If a patient is found to have limited metastatic disease, surgical removal or radiation therapy could be considered in order to control the majority of the disease. However, if metastases are more widespread, systemic (drug) therapy may be the preferred management option. The identification of additional metastatic sites using more sensitive imaging modalities therefore has the potential to alter management, and this remains an unmet need in the field. This study will investigate the utility of positron emission tomography (PET) imaging with PSMA (prostate specific membrane antigen). Kidney cancer of the clear cell subtype has demonstrated high expression of PSMA, making it a disease in which PSMA-targeted PET imaging could help to identify occult metastatic disease.

Over 18The study is a non-randomized, prospective trial of men scheduled for radical prostatectomy for treatment of prostate cancer as standard of care and will undergo a series of pre-operative multi-modality imaging studies. Pre-operative imaging will be correlated with actual pathology results and statistical modeling performed to determine the most informative imaging biomarkers in predicting cancer location and aggressiveness (Gleason Score).

Over 18Coughing affects almost all individuals with ILD leading to physical, psychological and social distress and prevents individuals from performing their activities of daily living, working or socialising in public places. Unfortunately, there are no licensed medications available to treat chronic cough and the few drugs that have been tried resulted in little efficacy and significant side effects. Drug-free cough control interventions have shown promise in reducing the severity and impact of coughing on patients' lives but have not been tested in individuals with ILD. This study aims to explore the feasibility and effectiveness of a non-pharmacological cough control therapy, as an adjuvant of pulmonary rehabilitation, in patients with ILD and chronic cough (\>8 weeks in duration).

18 - 85While it is well established that physical inactivity is a modifiable risk factor for vascular disease and cognitive decline, the mechanism by which exercise exerts its protective effect on the cerebral circulation and cognition is unknown. This knowledge gap was recognized recently in the Centers for Disease Control \& Prevention and the Alzheimer's Association document "National Public Health Road Map to Maintaining Cognitive Health". Our rationale for these studies is that the identification of physical exercise as a lifestyle factor able to improve cerebrovascular reserve and cognition would establish a strong scientific framework justifying design of a randomized clinical trial that could evaluate the role of physical activity in cerebrovascular health and function. This research is based on data we obtained from a cross-sectional study that showed significant relations between physical fitness, vascular regulation and cognition. Cerebrovascular reserve and cognition were better maintained in women who were physically active but reduced in women who were sedentary. Our central hypothesis is that regular aerobic exercise mitigates age-related decreases in cerebrovascular reserve, which in turn imparts benefits in cognition. Further, we believe that these effects will persist after the structured aerobic exercise program is terminated. Our 18 month study began with a 6-month baseline period, followed by a 6-month exercise intervention, and a 6-month follow-up period. In addition, there are 5-year and 10-year follow-up periods. Volunteers (men and women aged ≥ 55 years) from the community were recruited using a variety of recruitment methods including media and distribution lists. After the baseline (pre-training) measurements, participants underwent a six-month aerobic training program, following guidelines previously used by us and according to the new exercise guidelines for older adults established by American College of Sports Medicine and the American Heart Association. The study involves comprehensive assessments of physical fitness, cerebrovascular responses to carbon dioxide at rest and during sub-maximal exercise, and an extensive battery of cognitive function tests.
