Kratom is used for stimulant, analgesic, anxiolytic, and sedative effects. There is inadequate knowledge about Kratom addiction. Kratom withdrawal may be treated like opioid withdrawal. Prospective observational crossover study of consenting adults who are undergoing Kratom withdrawal management. On alternate weeks, each patient receives treatment using Buprenorphine 5cmg/hr patch; or Clonidine tablet 0.1mg 4hourly; or combined Clonidine tablet 0.1mg 4hourly + Buprenorphine 5cmg/hr patch. Each patient will undergo treatment for 12 weeks. Patients will use Subjective Opiate Withdrawal Scale (SOWS) to collect data on daily basis. SOWS is a patient-administered tool that is used to record the severity and presence of opiate withdrawal. The physician will also use Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale (COWS) to collect data on weekly basis. COWS is a clinician-administered tool that is used to record the signs of opiate withdrawal. A change in the COWS and SOWS scores by 6-points is considered significant.

Immunotherapy treatments are intended to boost a person's immune system to fight their cancer. Treatment with immunotherapy has been shown to be effective in a wide range of cancers, including melanoma skin cancer, lung cancer and kidney cancer, among others. Steroids are anti-inflammatory medications which may suppress the immune system. For this reason, persons requiring treatment with steroids have not previously been allowed to participate in immunotherapy clinical trials. Therefore, we do not know whether or not immunotherapy treatments are effective in patients who are also receiving treatment with steroids. When cancer has spread to the brain swelling may occur around the tumors, and headache, nausea, seizures or stroke-like symptoms may occur. In this instance, steroids are important to reduce swelling within the brain, thus alleviating these symptoms. Because patients requiring treatment with steroids have not previously been allowed to participate in immunotherapy clinical trials, we do not know whether treatment with immunotherapy is effective when steroid treatments are also used. This study will investigate this question, and also attempt to determine whether treatment with one steroid versus another results in a better response to immunotherapy.

This study is researching an experimental drug called REGN3767, also known as fianlimab (R3767), when combined with another medication called cemiplimab (each individually called a "study drug" or called "study drugs" when combined) compared with an approved medication called pembrolizumab. The objective of this study is to see if the combination of fianlimab and cemiplimab is an effective treatment compared to pembrolizumab in patients that have had melanoma removal surgery but are still at high risk for the recurrence of the disease. Pembrolizumab is an approved treatment in some countries in this clinical setting. The study is looking at several other research questions, including: * What side effects may happen from receiving the study drugs. * How much study drug is in the blood at different times. * Whether the body makes antibodies against the study drug (which could make the drug less effective or could lead to side effects). Antibodies are proteins that are naturally found in the blood stream that fight infections. * How administering the study drugs might improve quality of life.

The TARGET-HBV study engages an observational research design to conduct a comprehensive review of outcomes for patients with CHB infection. The initial phase of the study that enrolled patients treated with tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) was successfully completed. The current protocol (Amendment 1) describes the second phase of the study that will engage research activities for patients being managed for CHB in usual clinical practice in the US and Canada. The study addresses important clinical questions regarding the management of CHB by collecting and analyzing data from patients at academic and community medical centers. TARGET-HBV creates a robust database of real-world data regarding the natural history, management, and health outcomes related to antiviral treatments used in clinical practice.

Steroid injections are used for interventional pain management. However, their side-effect of immunosuppression may increase the risk of infections. Magnesium is an alternative anti-nociceptive injection that may be used instead of steroids. Prospective observational study of patients who received magnesium injection for interventional pain therapy, instead of steroid injection. Post-injection data collection includes numerical rating pain score, and sleep quality score. Pain is measured using the numeric pain rating scale. Sleep score is measured using the Likert sleep scale. A change in the pain or sleep scores by 2-points is considered significant.

The HIP ATTACK-2 trial is a multicentre, international, parallel group randomized controlled trial to determine whether accelerated surgery for hip fracture in patients with acute myocardial injury is superior to standard care in reducing death at 90 days after randomization. The trial will also assess secondary outcomes at 90 days after randomization: inability to independently walk 3 metres, time to first mobilization (first standing and first full weight bear), composite and individual assessment of major complications (e.g., mortality, non-fatal myocardial infarction, acute congestive heart failure, and stroke), delirium, length of stay, pain, and quality of life.

Chronic pain is associated with mental disorders, and some patients have behavioral issues. Some patients may sexually or racially harass pain clinic staff. Healthcare staff do not usually report sexual or racial harassment perpetrated by patients. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of prospective electronic and clinic diary data.
