Managing weight, extreme hunger and food seeking behaviours in people with genetic disorders of obesity. Current treatments including diet and exercise programs are generally not successful with these patients. Setmelanotide may help to re-establish weight and appetite control.

  • Eligible Ages:

    6 to 65

Participation Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:
You may be eligible for this study if you have a gene variant in the MC4R pathway gene that contributes to obesity and are between 6-65 years of age.
Exclusion Criteria:
Current use of weight loss medications and presence of severe disease
