Voice biomarkers for tremor syndromes
Parkinson's Disease | TremorTremor disorders are often misdiagnosed because they can seem similar during check-ups. This can lead to getting the wrong treatment and prognosis. Sometimes, experts can't tell if someone has Parkinson’s disease for sure. This can lead to many wrong guesses. Essential tremor is misdiagnosed 37% of the time, often as Parkinson’s disease. Because there aren't good tools to diagnose, it's even harder to figure out the problem. Regular imaging tests don't help much either.
