This study will investigate the relationship of the brain, body and bioenergetics to determine how childhood nutrition shapes developmental outcomes.

Participation Requirements

  • Sex:

    Male, Female, Intersex

  • Eligible Ages:

    8 to 10

Participation Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:
1. Children aged 8 – 10 years old

2. Able to tolerate a 30 – 60-minute MRI scan

3. Able to provide a baseline urine sample and complete daily sample collections
Exclusion Criteria:
1. Children with braces, or other metal implants that are contraindicated for MRI.

2. Children born pre-term (before 37 weeks’ gestation).

3. Children with a diagnosed neurodevelopmental disorder.
