Social Outcomes in Children Diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease
Children | Social IsolationChildren and adolescents with sickle cell disease (SCD) face a variety of problems that affect their lives. Some children with SCD have trouble making friends. We want to better understand the social abilities and friendships in children with or without SCD so that we can learn the best ways to support those who need it.
